UNITAR International University has held elections of Student Representative Council session 2014/2015 which took place on the Main Campus Kelana Jaya, Petaling Jaya last 26 November 2014.

A total of four General Constituency seats while eight Faculty seats representing the the four faculties, namely the Faculty of Business and Information (FBIT), Faculty of Education and Social Sciences (FESS), Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Managemet (FHTM) and Faculty of Early Childhood Studies (FECS).

For the 2014/2015 election session, only two faculties; the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM) and the Faculty of Early Childhood Studies (FECS) compete for a place in SRC Exco, while two other faculties, namely the Faculty of Business and Information Technology (FBIT) and the Faculty of Education and Social Sciences (FESS) unopposed.

A total of nine candidates vying for the post of executive council for the chair of the Faculty Division and five candidates vying for the top post to chair the General Constituency.

Here is a list of the Students' Representative Council (SRC) of the new 2014/2015 session:

  • Alif Irsyad Bin Roslan (FHTM) – President SRC
  • Abdul Haq Bin Abdul Rashid (FECS) - Vice President SRC
  • Darveen A/L Gopal (FBIT) - Secretary
  • Abir Morshed (FBIT) – Treasurer

UNITAR campus SRC elections are held every year in the month November. The announcement of the new SRC members has been done by the Vice-Chancellor UNITAR International University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sakina Sofia Baharom.
