The Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) (Hons) focuses on the education of children from birth to eight (8) years of age. The teaching profession and this quality ‘teacher training programme’ in particular have become a universal focus for sustainability in our society. As more and more parents rely upon childcare outside of their home, job opportunities for graduates of the Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) (Hons) programme will continue to increase. Graduates are qualified to work in both the Private as well as in the Public Sector (MOA requirement) of the Education industry. Responsible positions can be found in day-care centres, pre-school centres, recreation centres, as an Educational Administrator or run a day-care business. The scope of child-oriented businesses is constantly expanding, and therefore, the opportunities for graduates in this field are virtually unlimited.
