Cultural Exchange Programme

UNITAR and Kyoto Municipal Horikawa Senior High School – 14 April 2024
In the spirit of cultural exchange, UNITAR welcomed students and educators from the Kyoto Municipal Horikawa Senior High School.

Over 93 enthusiastic participants visited our Main Campus in Kelana Jaya to explore the rich magnificence of Malaysia and Japan. Students and educators explored diversity and differences through festive celebrations, traditional games, dance forms, culinary delights, and entertainment – fostered through understanding and mutual appreciation.

FREE Bubur Lambuk Distribution During the Holy Month of Ramadan
Particularly focused among the community of Kelana Jaya, UNITAR took the liberty to distribute the first wave of Bubur Lambuk to everyone within the area during Ramadan.

From 21 March until 4 April 2024, the Kelana Jaya residents will be grabbing a package for themselves before breaking fast with family and friends ✨

In conjunction with the Holy Month of Ramadan Al-Mubarak and the past three weeks, the Student Experience Department in collaboration with Tabung Amanah Zakat UNITAR distributed delicious free meals to the UNITAR students and staff, on Thursdays and Fridays.

Featuring UNITAR’s esteemed Faculty of Business Lecturer, Ms Azrin Abdul Razak, the Career Compass Workshop showcased invaluable insights into what students need to look out for when they first step into the workforce. During the workshop, Ms. Azrin captured attendees by speaking about topics such as Personal Grooming, Resume Writing and Personal Branding, highly essential elements needed for career growth.

UNITAR’s Citizenship Day 2024
UNITAR International University through the Faculty of Education and Humanities, proudly hosted Citizenship Day 2024 in partnership with Kumpulan Komuniti Prihatin Desa Mentari, along with several government and non-government agencies.

With the presence of Yang Berhormat Dr. Fahmi Ngah, Selangor State EXCO member, Citizenship Day 2024 illuminated the Desa Mentari community with an array of engaging activities, ranging from health screenings to mental health awareness sessions and other services.
