UNITAR Spreads Prosperity and Joy of Chinese New Year at Its Main Campus in Kelana Jaya

Petaling Jaya – In the spirit of multicultural diversity, UNITAR International University hosted a special Chinese New Year celebration on 21st February 2024 featuring an array of exciting performances including the traditional Lion Dance with all its staff and students.
Marking the auspicious year of the Dragon, UNITAR kickstarted the celebrations with the Lion Dance performance from the entranceway to each faculty on the campus. The ambience was further amplified by the loud cheers and applause from everyone at the event.
Along with the Lion Dance, everyone at the celebrations stood a chance to win attractive vouchers and goodies that promised to enhance the gala of Chinese New Year. In addition, there were also FREE UNITAR Angpao packets up for grabs for those who wished to collect our exclusive envelopes.
Donning traditional costumes in bright red and yellow colourways, this joyous occasion marks the first Chinese New Year celebration at UNITAR, making way for more such festive celebrations to come. Similarly, the university celebrated Hari Raya last year by hosting a Raya Open House by inviting students, staff, and guests with an abundance of Raya delicacies to feast on.
