The Foundation in Arts and Social Sciences provides a multidisciplinary foundation across the arts and social sciences. It brings together the humanities, education, law, psychology, sociology, mass communication and media studies, supported by common core courses.
Students develop critical thinking, communication, ethical reasoning, cultural awareness and analytical skills. The programme prepares them for undergraduate study in related disciplines and for thoughtful engagement with contemporary social issues and diverse cultural perspectives.

Entry Requirements
- Pass SPM or its equivalent with at least five (5) credits in any subjects; OR
- Pass UEC with a minimum Grade B in three (3) subjects; OR
- Pass O-Level with a minimum Grade C in five (5) subjects; OR
- Possess any other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government.
