Foundation in Information Technology is designed to build knowledge and develop practical skills for students who are keen on the Information Technology industry. This programme will equip students with the necessary input before they can pursue any related degree programmes.
Throughout this programme, students will also have the opportunity to learn about computing knowledge related to the fundamentals of Multimedia and Web Publishing, Programming, Database and Information System, Human Computer Interaction and Computer Organisation System.
Possess Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with minimum five credits including Mathematics or Additional Mathematics AND ONE (1) of Science, Technology or Engineering subject;
OR
Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with a minimum Grade B in three subjects including Mathematics or Additional Mathematics AND ONE (1) of Science, Technology or Engineering subject;
OR
Pass O-Level with a minimum of Grade C including Mathematics or Additional Mathematics AND ONE (1) of Science, Technology or Engineering subject;
OR
Any other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government.

Learn about the database on system, architecture and management systems as well as their functions on storing, manipulating, and retrieving data.
Web Designing
Understand Internet and Multimedia on World Wide Web (WWW) and construction of basic web pages with CSS and HTML.
Programming Languages
Discover basic programming concepts, .NET framework and Visual Basic Language features for creating simple applications through hands-on computer lab exercises.
Human Computer Interaction
Human-computer interaction is a discipline concerned with the design, evaluation and implementation of interactive computing systems for human use and with the study of major phonemonena surrounding them.
Computer Systems Organisation
The module cover topics related to the fundamentals of organisation and architecture of modern computing system, with an emphasis on performance.
