Course information

Academic Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Level 6, MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or its equivalent, as accepted by the UNITAR Senate; OR
  2. A Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, subject to a rigorous internal assessment; OR
  3. A Bachelor’s Degree (non-related field) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, subject to the completion of prerequisite courses; OR
  4. A Bachelor’s Degree (non-related field) with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, subject to a rigorous internal assessment AND the completion of prerequisite courses; OR
  5. Other relevant equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian government as equivalent to the above requirements.

APEL.A (Level 7, MQF) Admission

Applicants may also apply through the Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL.A) pathway, provided they meet the following:

  1. A Malaysian citizen; AND
  2. At least 30 years of age in the year of application; AND
  3. Possess STPM / Diploma / A-Levels / equivalent qualifications; AND
  4. Have relevant work experience / prior experiential learning; AND
  5. Pass the APEL Assessment.
