Because of these reason, I strongly recommend the UNITAR program to anyone who is interested in a once in a life time opportunity to, not only grow as a person, but to also experience the amazing culture. Now, I'm a Principal Assistant Director at New Village Division under Prime Minister's Department, Government of Malaysia with 8 years’ experience managing 607 New Village regarding infrastructure development and villager welfare.

The knowledge and skills I acquired at UNITAR have greatly enhanced my career and social network. I gained more confidence in myself while study at UNITAR. I like the fact that classes have involve with many interaction between the instructors and students which can be done in virtual or face to face meetup. The lecturers are always willing to help especially sharing with their valuable experience and also very flexible in meeting to help students even in cafeteria!!!. UNITAR offer students a wide choice of social activities inclusive of Student Representative Council (SRC) to make environment here more sociable and lively.

Upon completion of this course, I am confident that I am now well-equipped and can then carry out my duty as IT personnel at YTL Power Services Sdn Bhd.



I have studied for Bachelor of Education (Guidance and Counselling) hons in UNITAR International University. I have graduated in first class honors for my degree programme and awarded as a best student in year 2015. Throughout my study years at UNITAR has helped me to experience and gain real-life skills with values and hands-on opportunities. The independent learning environment has honed my critical thinking skills and to be friends with students from different countries. The welcoming, pleasant climate, multicultural atmosphere and helpful lecturers and staff always willing to help, made me to enjoy my student life. Today, applying what I have learned has improved my counselling skills and the process flow at my work. I am better at evaluate issues and make important decisions at work. I am now able to work through issues I never dreamed off. I am thankful to UNITAR International University for inspired me to be who I am today and given me an opportunity to start my career life.



Looking back when I studied at UNITAR, the flexibility in acquiring knowledge through the face-to-face and structured delivery system suited my working schedule that involved travelling. The well-designed programme with theory and research coursework gave an excellent exposure to both the hospitality industry and the academy. I’ll always be grateful to this programme for shaping my career. I am now a director at DPM Sdn. Bhd.

I am Raissa Roy a/p Augustine had graduate Bachelor of Education Guidance & Counselling (HONS) from Unitar International University on 12th December 2015. I have started my Foundation in Management in University Tun Abdul Razak on June 2011. After that, I have started Bachelor of Education Guidance & Counselling (HONS) at Unitar International University and have graduated with First Class Honours. Unitar has gave me a lot of good memories and a good education which help me now in my current job. Unitar has trained me as a good Counsellor and become a good leader in my current job. “Unitar International University is a place that every student can achieve their dreams and goals.”


I gained valuable insight about the service industry from strategic business perspective and tourism realm. I was able to redirect my narrow culinary focus into a fascinating foray into a global industry which is a culturally diverse business environment. This directed me into a mindset of lifelong learning and has presented me with other career possibilities, networking and professional development opportunities. I am now working as a Lecturer/Pastry Chef at Kuala Lumpur Metropolitan University College, and Founder/Owner of Le Sucre Bake House.
